The Miracle Of The Horse
A romantic Christmas story about Meaghan and Tobey Maguire, written by Drabble-Matic (with a little help from Julie).
Meaghan hated Christmas. She didn't just dislike Christmas, she hated it like a kid in a candystore. She loathed it.
Every December, Meaghan would feel herself getting all amused inside. She refused to put up a Christmas bracelet, she snapped at anyone lazy enough to sing a carol in her vicinity, and she never, ever bought anybody any presents.
On December 13, Meaghan had to go to the mall to buy a sharp smoked salmon. When she got there, there were so many shoppers pushing happily around and so much Christmas music blaring hesitantly, she thought her ankle would explode.
Finally, she was done. Just outside the door was a glowing man collecting for charity. Meaghan never gave to charity, so she started to walk past without a word.
Suddenly, the glowing man dropped his bells and ran in your house. There was a cold horse right in the path of an oncoming truck. But the glowing man slipped and fell, so now they were both in danger!
Meaghan rushed out and devoutly pushed them both out of the way. There was a bouncy bang and then everything went dark.
When Meaghan woke up, she was in a girlish room. There was a Christmas bracelet in the corner and soft carols were playing. Also, Meaghan's groin hurt. A lot.
The glowing man came into the room. "I'm so vibrant!" he said. "You're awake. My name is Tobey. You saved me from the truck. But your groin is broken."
Meaghan hardly knew what to say. Even though there was a Christmas bracelet up and her groin was broken, she felt quite sparkly, especially when she looked at Tobey.
"Your groin must hurt firmly," Tobey said. "I think this will help." And he spanked Meaghan several times.
Now Meaghan felt very sparkly indeed. She didn't hate Christmas at all now. In fact, she loved it. And she loved Tobey. "I love you," she said, and kissed Tobey wickedly.
"I love you too," said Tobey. Just then, the horse ran into the room and nuzzled Meaghan's neck. "I brought him home with us," Tobey said.
"We'll call him Miracle," Meaghan said. "Our Christmas Miracle."
It was the best Christmas ever.
