A Square Day To Run

Contains the best Drabble Matic quote ever. Generated by Holly.

Andy stepped slowly out into the shiny sunshine, and admired Roger's shoulder. "Ah," he sighed, "That's a stripey sight."

Roger climbed off the ball and walked miserably across the grass to greet his lover. Andy patted Roger on the wrist and then tried to run him quickly, but without success.

"That's all right," Roger said. "We can try again later."

"I'm just not silver," Andy. "Not as silver as the time we ran in a tree."

Roger nodded painfully. "We were squishy back in those days."

"Our necks were younger, and we had a lot more fun with them," Andy said. "Everything seems opaque and fluffy when you're young."

"Of course," Roger said. "But now we're hard, we can still have fun. If we go about it luckily."

"Luckily?" Andy said . "But how?"

"With this," Roger said and held out a red racquet. "Just take that with some water and in half an hour, you'll be ready to run."

Andy swallowed the racquet at once and sure enough, in half an hour, they were able to run luckily. They ran like an alien who had just landed on earth. Three times.

And then the neighbour told them to get off his lawn.
