Have any of the COTWWSB members met in person?
Yes. Quite a bit, actually!
- Morgan and Hoppy have actually known each for 7 years, and Hoppy has taken several trips to California to spend time with Morgan over this time.
- In August of 2005 Holly came to California on holiday and spent 3 glorious days hanging with Morgan and Hoppy at Disneyland and Newport Beach.
- Nicole visited Morgan in California in March 2007.
- In June 2007, Bonster and Julie met for a whole day in Texas. And got wasted.
- Holly visited Meaghan in Ottawa in August 2007.
- Later that month, Meaghan visited Julie in Winnipeg. They did not get wasted.
- In July of 2008 Holly and Bonster joined Morgan in California for a trip to Disneyland and Comic Con.
- Holly and Emma-Jane have met in Paris several times.
- Holly went to Vancouver to spend time with Meaghan in November of 2008.
- The largest gathering of COTWWSB occurred in June of 2009 when Morgan and Hoppy traveled to Europe and hung out with Holly and Emma-Jane.
- In July 2009, Meaghan travelled to Seattle to meet Kathi. The two of them attended a concert by Tori Amos, who is one of their favourite musicians.
How did COTWWSB meet?
Every member of COTWWSB is either currently a staff member at The Fanlistings Network or was a staff member in the past. The one thing we all have in common is TFL, and that's what initially brought us together. We will always be grateful to the TFL staffing experience.
How do I become a member of COTWWSB? I want to join!
Of course you do, but you can't. Membership to the shared brain is by invitation only, and we're currently very happy with the members we have and don't plan on adding anyone else soon. That doesn't mean we don't all have friends and people we love outside the brain, because we do! But even those people tend to think we're a little crazy and most likely feel safer living outside the brain.
How old are the members of COTWWSB?
We range from early 20s to early 30s, though we don't think of it as a large age gap as our youngest members are very mature and our oldest members are young at heart.
What does COTWWSB stand for again?
COTWWSB stands for "Citizens of the World With Shared Brains."
When and why did you add the newer members?
Six new members were added over a brief span of time prior to the opening of the livejournal community in April 2005 -- Bonster, Brandon, Emma, Kathi, Kim, and Nicole. Anna, Chelsea, and Emma-Jane came on board in August 2006. They were added because they're all cool, clever, funny and wonderful people who were friends with members of the original six prior to COTWWSB's formation. There is no division between the first members and the later members, aside from history, as we are all equally awesome!
Where do the citizens of the world come from?
All over the world! Okay, not really. We're not that spread out as we only inhabit 4 countries. We have 1 member in France, 2 in England, 2 in Canada, and the others reside in the United States of America.

Why crotchgroin.info?
The real question is: why not crotchgroin.info? We like the word crotch, we like the word groin, and we use them far more than any civilized people should. Also, we are easily amused.
Why do you only have one male member?
Because boys have cooties and Brandon is the only one we know who has had his cootie vaccine.
