The Verve
They released their first album in 1993, split up shortly after releasing their second album in 1995, re-formed to release their third album in 1997 and became rather well-known for a while through the single "Bitter Sweet Symphony," then officially split up again in 1999. In 2004 they released a greatest hits compilation but they show no signs of getting back together again.
