Comments
Anna thinks Craig Thompson is grointastic like whoa and says "Really amazing storyteller with art to go along with it."
Meaghan thinks Craig Thompson is grointastic like whoa and says "I first heard of Craig Thompson when a friend lent me Blankets, which is absolutely stunning and one of the best books I had read in years. Then I picked up Goodbye, Chunky Rice, which is also brilliant (and kind of heartbreaking). I love Thompson's style of art and he is great at evoking a sort of nostalgic, wistful atmosphere with the combination of his writing, his art, and the way he lays out his pages. If anyone needed any proof that a "comic book" can be good literature, they need look no further than Craig Thompson."
