On average, those of us who recommend Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince think it is Grointastic Like Whoa.
Bonster thinks Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is grointastic and says "I agree with Meaghan that it's tightly written. There's things happening with every page, though I do think most of the teen melodrama was actually as glossed over as possible, which is a good thing. I did feel that it was more of a 'book that prepares you for the next' than the others, but still, a very good book."
Chelsea thinks Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is grointastic like whoa and says "I really enjoyed this book, so much happened that will prepare us for the last installment, and then there is that ending, that killed me and made me wonder what was going to happen next."
Meaghan thinks Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is grointastic like whoa and says "This one is much tighter than the previous volume. I do think there was a bit too much teen melodrama but overall it was excellent. The ending will first shock you in a bad way, then absolutely stun you in a good way."
Morgan thinks Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is grointastic like whoa and says "Well, not as good as book five, but I really love the ending. It's much lighter than book five, which was not what I was expecting, but I think it's great set up for the end of the series."
